As used herein, the term “Cargo Floor” refers to a floor that defines, forms, or extends along at least part of a lower boundary, base, or supporting region of a cargo area or other region configured to receive, store, support, or transport cargo. A cargo floor may be defined physically, geometrically, or functionally and need not be flat, planar, horizontal, level, continuous, solid, unitary, or the absolute lowermost structure of the cargo area. A cargo floor may include one or more panels, decks, liners, bed surfaces, structural surfaces, inserts, or other floor-forming members and may be original equipment, subsequently installed, fixed, movable, removable, raised, lowered, recessed, stepped, contoured, segmented, or otherwise configured. A cargo floor may directly or indirectly support cargo and may include or be interrupted by wheel wells, channels, mounting structures, fasteners, access openings, or other components or structures. In certain embodiments, a cargo floor may underlie a cargo platform, cargo cover, or other component of a cargo apparatus.
