Full Desc
As used herein, the term "Cargo Cover" refers to a cover configured to extend over, enclose, shield, or protect at least a portion of a cargo area. A cargo cover may include a unitary structure, one or more cover sections, or one or more cover panels, and may be rigid, semi-rigid, flexible, foldable, retractable, rollable, articulated, segmented, fabric-based, composite, or otherwise configured. In certain embodiments, a cargo cover may include or function as a tonneau cover, elevated cargo cover, intermediate-height cover, topper, shell, retractable cover, or the like. A cargo cover may be manually moved, power-operated, power-assisted, or otherwise moved between an open position and a closed position, and between such positions may pass through or occupy one or more extended, retracted, folded, rolled, raised, lowered, or side-stowed positions. A cargo cover may additionally be configured to support, retain, secure, or facilitate storage of cargo positioned above the cargo cover.
