As used herein, the term “Cover” refers to one or more structures, assemblies, components, panels, members, materials, or combinations thereof configured to cover, extend over or across, enclose, conceal, shield, protect, close, or provide a barrier relative to at least a portion of an object, structure, space, opening, region, or area. A cover may be defined physically, geometrically, or functionally and need not be rigid, planar, continuous, permanently attached, or fully enclosing. A cover may include a unitary structure or one or more cover sections or cover panels and may be fixed, movable, removable, flexible, foldable, rollable, retractable, articulated, segmented, or otherwise configured relative to what the cover covers. A cover may additionally perform one or more supporting, retaining, securing, structural, aerodynamic, environmental, decorative, or other functions. In certain embodiments, a cover may include a cargo cover configured to extend over or otherwise cover at least a portion of a cargo area, such as a truck bed. The cover may be movable manually, through powered or assisted operation, automatically, or through a combination thereof between an open position, a closed position, or one or more intermediate or other positions.
