As used herein, the term “Underlying Region” refers to a surface, space, volume, area, structure, portion thereof, and/or combination thereof located at least partially beneath, behind, inward of, supported by, or otherwise on an underlying side of another component, structure, position, region, and/or reference. An underlying region may be defined physically, geometrically, functionally, or relative to a direction, orientation, axis, supporting surface, gravitational reference, and/or other frame of reference. An underlying region need not be directly below, vertically aligned with, in contact with, or coextensive with the overlying component or structure and may include one or more intervening components, spaces, and/or structures. The boundaries, accessibility, or configuration of an underlying region may change as another component is moved or repositioned. In certain embodiments, an underlying region may include at least part of a cargo floor or cargo area located beneath a cargo platform when the cargo platform is in a cargo position.
