Full Desc
As used herein, the term "Cargo Space" refers to a volume, region, capacity, or combination thereof configured or available to receive, accommodate, store, support, transport, or permit passage of cargo, as distinguished from a cargo area that may define or bound such volume. Cargo space may be defined physically, geometrically, or functionally and need not be empty, continuous, enclosed, regularly shaped, or bounded by physical walls or surfaces. Cargo space may include actual, potential, occupied, unoccupied, accessible, selectively accessible, or reconfigurable space and may be increased, reduced, divided, combined, or otherwise altered by repositioning one or more components or structures. In certain embodiments, cargo space may be located within, above, below, adjacent to, or otherwise relative to a cargo area, cargo floor, cargo cover, cargo platform, or vehicle and may include enclosed or unenclosed volume beneath a cargo cover, between cargo platforms, or above an upper region of a cargo area.
