“Relief Surface” refers to the surface region of a component that defines the relief, which may be planar, curved, faceted, stepped, or otherwise contoured, and may extend partially or fully along a feature. Relief surfaces may be optimized to enhance performance in surgical, industrial, or mechanical applications.
