"Clean Perfusate" refers to a quantity of perfusate that has an improved condition for use in perfusion relative to another quantity of perfusate. In certain embodiments, clean perfusate refers to a quantity perfusate that has undergone some form of cleaning, cleansing, purifying, or filtration process. In another embodiment, clean perfusate refers to a quantity perfusate that has been prepared, manufactured, or fabricated for use in perfusion but has not yet been used in a perfusion process. In another embodiment, clean perfusate refers to a quantity perfusate that has received an additive and/or supplement improves the condition of the perfusate for use in a perfusion process.
