"Doner bone" refers to a bone that is used as a source for a bone graft. The bone may be a bone of a patient, in which case the bone graft is an autograft. The doner bone may be a bone of a donor who is of the same species as the patient but not the same genotype, in which case the bone graft is an allograft. The doner bone may be a bone of a donor who is of another species as the patient, in which case the bone graft is a xenograft.
