Full Desc
"Boost circuit" refers to any circuit, sub-circuit, component, or the like that converts an input voltage or starting voltage into a higher output voltage. In one example, a boost circuit may convert a low voltage such as about 5.5 volts to a high voltage such as 10 volts or more.
