Full Desc
"High voltage" (HV) refers to an electronic voltage within a range that depends on the context for the relevant electronic circuit. For passive or active electrical components of many electronic circuits, such as those in consumer electronics, computers, and/or semiconductors, high voltage refers to an electronic voltage within a range of between about 7 volts and about 15 volts. Of course, in another context, such as with high voltage power lines or electrical power generation, the range for high voltage may be defined to be much larger than the example range provided here.
