"Placement guide" refers to a guide that is designed, adapted, configured, or engineered to facilitate placement or deployment of an object, instrument, or implant into, onto, or in another relationship to another object. In one aspect, a placement guide may be used to guide insertion of an implant or fastener into a body part of a patient.
