As used herein, a "balanced condition" refers to a state of a bone and/or joint having a desired alignment of the bone or joint with a central axis of a limb or anatomical structure that includes the bone and/or joint. In certain embodiments, a balanced condition refers to a condition of the bone or joint that is not a varus condition and is not a valgus condition.
