"Source transformer" refers to a circuit, sub-circuit, circuitry, or electronic component configured, programmed, designed, arranged, or engineered to convert an electrical current into a substantially equivalent electrical voltage or to convert an electrical voltage into a substantially equivalent electrical current. Generally, the source transformer is configured to connect to the source voltage or current in either a parallel configuration or a series configuration in order to transform the electrical current or voltage into the corresponding voltage or current.
