FIG. 31 is a flow chart diagram of one example method 3100 for using a patient specific cutting guide according to one embodiment to mitigate a condition present in a patient. Before the method 3100 begins a surgeon may obtain a patient specific cut guide and/or one or more other instruments that may be patient specific or may be configured for use with most patients.
