FIGS. 21A, 21B illustrate a perspective view of a first cuneiform and a first metatarsal with one embodiment of a patient-specific cutting guide. Prior to resection completed in the illustrated stage of FIG. 20, a surgeon may desire to check or confirm that the desired cutting guide is being used and that a selected cutting guide will provide a desired alignment between the bones of the foot after the resection and fixation steps.
