After resection, the distal end of the first cuneiform 210 includes a planar cut surface and the proximal end of the first metatarsal 230 includes a planar cut surface. FIG. 20 illustrates that the bone engagement surface 1924 conforms to the surface of the two bones (e.g., first cuneiform 210 and first metatarsal 230).
