Figure 6 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating a method 600 for setting an orientation mode, according to one or more examples of the present disclosure. In various examples, the method 600 begins and includes determining 602 a context for a route to be navigated by a user based on one or more factors. In certain examples, the method 600 continues and includes determining 604 an orientation mode for the context. In one or more examples, the method 600 further includes setting 606 an orientation mode for a navigation module to a first orientation mode based on the determined context. In one or more examples, the method 600 further includes displaying 608 map data on a display in communication with the navigation module using the first orientation mode.
