19. The knotless suture anchor system of claim 18 wherein the inserter is operable to engage the proximal member in an axial force transmitting relationship in a first direction, the inserter having a pushrod mounted for axial translation within the inserter, the pushrod operable to engage the set screw in an axial force transmitting relationship in a second direction opposite the first direction and break the frangible connection to separate the anchor body from the proximal member in response to axial translation of the pushrod relative to the inserter.
