In the illustrated embodiment, the teeth 502 are shaped to come to a point. From left to right, the first orientation is with the fixation device 500c on its side. The next orientation shows the fixation device 500c from the proximal end 212. The next orientation shows the fixation device 500c from the distal end 210. The next orientation shows the fixation device 500c standing on end.
