In one embodiment, the fixation device 100 may include a distal end 120 and a proximal end 122. The distal end 120 may contact a body part of a patient as part of fixating a tissue 114 to the body part. For example, in a transosseous (through the bone) fixation procedure the distal end 120 may contact the bone. The proximal end 122 may contact a part of the body but not for purposes of fixation.
