Figure 5A is a perspective view of a medial bone plate 500a deployed on a long bone, according to one embodiment. The medial bone plate 500a may have structures, features, and functions, operations, and configuration similar to that of the medial bone plate 400 described in relation to FIG. 4A-4E. Accordingly, the medial bone plate 500a may include a proximal end 502, distal end 504, body 506, one or more arms 508, one or more fastener openings 514, a fixation feature 516, a front surface 518, a back surface 520 (not shown), and one or more elbows 522. In the illustrated embodiment, the medial bone plate 500a has a longer body 506 such that the arms 508 are positioned above a fracture 524.
