The cutting guide 1200 may be designed to facilitate resection of a first cuneiform and a first metatarsus with planar cuts at the proper angles to provide dual-plane correction of the orientation of the first metatarsus, thereby providing correction in a lateral direction and in a plantar direction or a dorsal direction.
