The message typically does not include data of the data segment. The message may also include other information stored in the data segment token, such as a data segment location or the repeated, identical character or character string. In the particular embodiment, the apparatus includes a requesting client response module 1012 that transmits a response to the requesting client 113 formulated from the message received from the storage device 150.
