In one embodiment, the system may include a driver residing at the requesting device. The driver includes at least a portion of one or more of the write request receiver module, the data segment token storage module, the read request receiver module, the read data segment token module, and the read request response module. The system may also include the modules and embodiments described above with regard to the apparatus.
