A second implementation, alone or in combination with the first implementation, process 1500 further may include generating a preoperative plan for a surgical procedure that uses the patient-specific resection guide and includes a surgical technique for using the patient-specific resection guide to perform an osteotomy on a bone of the patient that corresponds to the bone model and/or reposition the bone of the patient to the correction position to remediate the condition present in the patient’s foot.
