Advantageously, the canvas 1304 illustrates which bone models, and thus bones of the patient are involved in a deformity condition. In one embodiment, the bone models involved in a deformity condition, which may include a set of active models 1316, may be highlighted, differently colored or otherwise marked in the user interface 1300 such that the bone models involved in a deformity condition are readily discernible. Similarly, the bone models involved in the correction position may be highlighted, differently colored or otherwise marked in the user interface 1300 such that the bone models involved in a correction position are readily discernible. Alternatively, or in addition, the context models 1318 bone models may be highlighted, differently colored or otherwise marked in the user interface 1300 such that the bone models that are context models 1318 are readily discernible. Use of different markings for the bone models in the deformity condition, correction position, context models 1318 can help a user 1002 such as a quality control user to quickly determine where the workflow 1050 followed thus far will produce a desired outcome. In one embodiment, the canvas 1304 may include a cut first metatarsal 208 model and a cut medial cuneiform 202 model such that a user 1002 can see how those bones will look once designed cuts are made.
