The coupler 2212 enables the pin guide 2200 to be connected and/or disconnected from a complementary component 1930. The complementary component 1930 may serve as a reference or guide for the placement, positioning, and/or orientation of fasteners 2216 into bone and/or bone fragments during a surgical procedure.
