Figure 10 illustrates an exemplary embodiment of a compressor/distractor 1000 that can be used with certain embodiments. The compressor/distractor 1000 can be used for one or both of distraction and compression. For example, the compressor/distractor 1000 can be used to distract the first metatarsal 208 relative to the medial cuneiform 202.
