Of course, a variety of shapes for the resection interface 884 can be formed using the present disclosure. Like FIGS. 13A-13C, FIGS. 13D-13F illustrate alternative examples of resection interface 884 that illustrate a cross section for the resection interface 884 that can include straight side cuts, curved cuts, and/or a combination of these. In one embodiment, curved cuts may be formed for the osteotomies using a cutting tool such as a burr. FIG. 13D illustrates a triangular or chevron cross-section shape for the resection interface 884.
