Next, a surgeon may deploy a fastener 910 through the opening 948 and into the calcaneus 224. Advantageously, the positioned tendon trajectory guide 920 and the trajectory of the trajectory port 922 ensures that the distal end of the fastener 910 exits the cortical bone at the inferior target marker 1010.
