As used herein, “edge” refers to a structure, boundary, or line where an object, surface, or area begins or ends. An edge can also refer to a boundary or perimeter between two structures, objects, or surfaces. An edge can also refer to a narrow part adjacent to a border. (search "edge" on Merriam-Webster.com.
