The landmark registration feature 728 serves to facilitate registration of a guide 720 to a surface of a bone and/or to one or more landmarks of one or more bones. The resection guide 720 can include one, two, or more landmark registration features 728. In the illustrated embodiment, the resection guide 720 may include one or two landmark registration features 728. The landmark registration features 728 can extend from one or more sides of the resection guide 720. In the illustrated embodiment, the landmark registration features 728 extend from a bone attachment feature 724. Those of skill in the art will appreciate that the landmark registration features 728 can have various lengths, widths, and thicknesses. Advantageously, the landmark registration features 728 can also include a bone engagement surface section 727 that may extend a bone engagement surface 726 on an anterior surface/side 734 (See FIG. 9H) of the resection guide 720.
