In the illustrated embodiment, the first bone attachment feature 766 or the second bone attachment feature 768 may serve as both a bone attachment feature and as an alignment feature. In this manner, the first bone attachment feature 766 can provide both a bone attachment feature and an alignment feature in a single feature. In certain embodiments, the first bone attachment feature 766 and/or the second bone attachment feature 768 can be used as a reference marker or reference pin for use with other instrumentation used in a surgical procedure.
