For example, suppose a surgeon would like a patient-specific osteotomy system 606 for an ankle fusion procedure. One goal of the ankle fusion procedure may be to relieve pain of the patient and to remove a minimal amount of bone in the process of completing the procedure. In such an example, the bone model 404 may be of one or more bones of a foot and/or ankle of the patient.
