Of course, at the discretion of the surgeon, each of the distal tibia resection guide 1420a,b and the distal fibula resection guide 1410a,b may be placed and secured in one stage of the procedure. Or, each of the distal tibia resection guide 1420a,b and the distal fibula resection guide 1410a,b may be positioned and secured in sequence. Furthermore, resections may be performed using one or more of the distal tibia resection guide 1420a,b and the distal fibula resection guide 1410a,b in series, again at the discretion of the surgeon.
